My wife and I go here once or twice a week. It is the best. The portions are great for the price, the staff is always on point with service and friendliness, the atmosphere is great, drinks are made good! We compare every other restaurant we visit to El Tapatios. If you're looking for the best food in the west GA area, El Tapatios will not disappoint you.

We stumbled upon El Tapatio just by googling "Mexican around me" and we were amazed by the food and drinks! We came for dinner and the ambience was wonderful....we sat in the bar at a high top. The chips were warm with a delicious salsa. My ultimate margarita was one of the best! We ordered the combinations plates and everything came out piping hot and very very delicious! Service was above and beyond! What a great find and we will definitely be back!

Moved to Jonesboro, Georgia from California in 1985. We were disappointed with the Mexican fare available until we moved to Carrollton in 2006. We discovered El Tapatio's in a little hole in the wall on hwy 61. Word spread quickly about their authentic Mexican food, and they then moved to Temple. The entire menu is quality food. The staff, from the owner to the wait staff are friendly, and courteous.

I’ll tell you, I was beginning to get discouraged about finding good Mexican food here in west Georgia. Tapatio’s has changed my mind! The food is fresh and generous. The waitstaff is attentive. I’m so happy to have New Mexican home.
